About Us

Our Vision

The Joanne Owen Foundation envisions a future in Nevada where:

Underserved youth gain access to opportunities they can excel at, benefiting themselves and the community.

Military veterans gain access to their health and psychological needs, when their benefits or ability to access fall short.

Our Mission

The Joanne Owen Foundation is a private grantmaking organization that supports local public charities. We do not consider grantmaking to universities, religious organizations, or individuals.

The Foundation considers grants on a rolling basis, but makes major awards annually in June. If you represent a public charity with needs that match our vision, we invite you to complete a Grant Submission Form.

For questions about our mission or grantmaking process, please contact us.
